buzzerker You're fighting a buzzerker

The buzzerker (or 'beeserker', if you think that's funnier) is a bee that will stop at nothing to destroy his enemies, even if it means his own death. Since just about all bees die when they sting something, this is basically status quo, but this particular bee really, really means it.

Hit Message(s):

He starts to sting you, thinks better of it, and turns around and bites you instead. Yeowch! Who saw that coming? Argh! Eek! Argh! Oof! Ow!

He stings you in the <ankle>. Er, while frothing at the mouth, or something. Wattaya want from me? Eek! Ooh! Ow! Oof! Ugh!

He manages to sting you without catching the barb of his stinger, so he lives to sting again. Yay? Oof! Ouch! Ooh! Ugh!

He eschews his stinger and beats you with his shield instead. Ooh! Eek! Eek! Eek!

Critical Hit Message:

He manages to sting you eight or nine times without detaching his abdomen. It's as impressive as it is painful. Eek! Ooh! Oof! Ooh! Ooh!

Miss Message(s):

The buzzerker takes a moment to chew on the edge of its tiny shield.

Fumble Message:

After Combat

Honeyglob.gifYou acquire an item: handful of honey (??.??% chance)*
Honeyglob.gifYou acquire an item: handful of honey (??.??% chance)*
You gain ? <substat>.

The miss message is a reference to the trope, "Chewing the Scenery", and more specifically, to the movie Monty Python and the Holy Grail, which was the trope namer.
