Category talk:Clan Stuff

I believe the name of this category is quite "unsophisticated" (for lack of a better word coming to mind). Maybe something like "Clan Furnishings", "Clan Accessories", "Clan Gear", or something else would be more appropriate. "Clan Furnishings" or "Clan Accessories" may even continue to work if any new functionality is ever added to clans. --JRSiebz (|§|) 22:32, 26 April 2006 (CDT)

  • I agree! I like "Clan Furnishings" better than "Clan Accessories". --Gymnosophist 23:07, 26 April 2006 (CDT)
  • Why do The Rye, Iocaine Powder and Jicken Wings get a page on the Wiki? Shouldn't their histories be on their websites? It's okay for the NPZR Clan, N.O., Otori and Warehouse 23 to get a page on the Wiki, though, because they are important enough to get their own special items.--Jubbers 23:52, 21 October 2006 (CDT)
    • This was an executive decision by the site founder. --Gymnosophist 00:11, 22 October 2006 (CDT)
  • Clan Stuff: I cleared out this random mess of a category intro logical subcats, so it's a little easier to navigate through. But I'm not sure what do do with the retired gym and its equipment. They don't really fit in anywhere, but should exist for archival purposes. Still don't like the name "Clan Stuff" ;-) Clan Wiki Pages: Again, I still hate having those clan pages, the clan's with items should get a little paragraph about mentioning their in-game items, a little info, etc. and that's it. They all have web links, link to their webpages instead of a bastard poor duplication of that here (actually almost all occurrences of do link to their webpages). I mean they already get mentioned and a web link on their items and the clan page, why have a clan page for each of them. These clan pages are just a middleman click-thru page on the way to their real site anyway. Plus the whole consistently fair thing. The pages are not useful at all, mostly just cut n pastes of a fictitious clan history anyway. They just bug me soooo much. It's so inefficient, clicking on a clan page then to a clan web page, why not skip the middle step entirely? Player Pages: Should all the few (14?) remaining of them be removed? And a KoL Staff category be created instead. That way we can say "no staff - no page" instead of "not famous/notable" etc., it's clearer and less subjective. And all KoL DJs can create pages on the radio-kol wiki, so we don;t need them here, we just need a simple database edit so we can interwiki to there like [[radiowiki:RadioWikiPageLikeADJProlile|RadioWikiPageLikeADJProlile]]? Thoughtsies? --JRSiebz (|§|) 00:29, 14 January 2007 (CST)
