Loot Distribution
Clan members with the proper permissions can also distribute loot from the Basement.
- When distributed, the loot is sent via KMails from the distributor in the format:
- You have received a piece of clan dungeon loot from <player>.
You acquire... something.
or
- You have received a piece of clan dungeon loot from <player>.
You acquire... something. - This gift package contains the following item: <item>.
- Some loot may be autosold by selecting [sell] as the recipient. This only applies to loot which is one per player.
- If the recipient is in ronin/ hardcore, their loot will arrive as
- A Bindle of joy (Hobopolis)
- A Moist sack (The Slime Tube)
- A sorority girl's box (The Haunted Sorority House)
- A Dreadful box (Dreadsylvania)
- For Hobopolis loot, the recipient will need to clear the sewers to be eligible for loot distribution, but does not need to spend any turns in the dungeon outside of that.
- Furthermore, they may ascend and still be eligible, even though they have to clear the sewers again to access Hobopolis itself.
- For other dungeons a single adventure there (or fighting a copied monster from that class of dungeon) is sufficient to get loot.
- A dungeon cannot be closed with undistributed (or autosold) loot.
Hobopolis
Initially, when the clan dungeon is purchased, The Old Sewers are not available. Instead, the corner contains An Overflowing Sewer Grate, which can be dug out for 1,000,000 Meat.
- If The Old Sewers are open, and you have the appropriate permissions:
- You are authorized to re-flood the sewer grate and close off the sewers leading to Hobopolis. This will make the dungeon unavailable to people in your clan until it is reopened, and should only be done if you're absolutely, positively sure that you've done everything you want to do down there.
Flood Hobopolis! |
- When flooding the sewers:
- You turn a valve just beneath the sewer grate and unleash a torrent of fresh raw sewage into the tunnels. They flood completely, and sewage begins once again seeping up into the basement. Hooray!
- Attempting to adventure in any part of the Hobopolis dungeon after Hodgman the Hoboverlord has been defeated:
- You shouldn't be here.
- Attempting to access The Old Sewers when you do not have permission to adventure in Hobopolis:
- You don't have access to Hobopolis.
The Slime Tube
Initially, when the clan dungeon is purchased, The Slime Tube is not available. Instead, the space contains A Greasy Spot, which can be dug out for 250,000 Meat.
- If The Slime Tube is open, and you have the appropriate permissions:
- You are authorized to put down some new cement and seal up the Slime Tube. This will make the dungeon unavailable to people in your clan until it is reopened, and should only be done if you're absolutely, positively sure that you've done everything you want to do down there.
Seal the Slime Tube! |
- When sealing the slime tube:
- You mix up a batch of cement and seal the hole. As soon as the cement dries, a bunch of grease soaks up into it from underneath.
- If you do not have the appropriate permissions to access the Slime Tube:
- You don't have access to the slimetube.
The Haunted Sorority House
This was a limited time dungeon available from October 15th to 31st, 2011. After the 31st, existing open dungeons could still be adventured in, but no new instances could be opened.
Initially, when the clan dungeon is purchased, The Haunted Sorority House is not available. Instead, the space contains A Pile of Haunted House Flyers, which can be cleaned up for 500,000 Meat.
- If The Haunted Sorority House is open, and you have the appropriate permissions:
- You have permission to destroy the map to the Haunted Sorority House. This will make the dungeon unavailable to people in your clan until it is reopened, and should only be done if you're absolutely, positively sure that you've done everything you want to do down there.
End It! |
- When sealing the Sorority House:
- You hide the directions to the Haunted Sorority House under the nearest thing you can find, which happens to be another massive pile of flyers advertising the Haunted Sorority House.
Dreadsylvania
This dungeon became available on 28th July 2013.
Initially, when the clan dungeon is purchased, Dreadsylvania is not available. Instead, the space contains A Folded-Up Map on the Floor, which can be unfolded for 1,000,000 Meat.
- If Dreadsylvania is open, and you have the appropriate permissions:
- You are authorized to fold up the map to Dreadsylvania. This will make the dungeon unavailable to people in your clan until it is reopened, and should only be done if you're absolutely, positively sure that you've done everything you want to do down there.
Close the Map on Dreadsylvania |
- When sealing Dreadsylvania:
- You fold the map back up. Goodbye, terror!
- Attempting to access Dreadsylvania without the appropriate permissions:
- You don't have permission to visit Dreadsylvania.
Whiteboard
- The whiteboard is a shared, 5000-character notepad, similar to your Quest Log [notes] page, that all players with basement access can read. In order to edit it, you must either be the clan owner or have the appropriate clan permissions.
Notes
- Trying to access the basement without the appropriate clan permissions:
- Your clan has a basement, but you are not allowed to enter clan dungeons, so this is as far as you're going, Gilbert.
- Attempting to close a dungeon without checking the confirmation box:
- You didn't click the confirmation box.
- Attempting to close a dungeon before distributing all of its loot:
- There is still undistributed loot from that dungeon.
