Notes

• Grants noncombat skill Map the Monsters.
• On the first visit to the The Typical Tavern Cellar, uncovers two squares. They aren't necessarily contiguous or next to the stairs.

You search your memory of the cartographic compendium and recall the location of some of the less interesting parts of the cellar.

• Sometimes gives effects after combat:

    You acquire an effect: Cartographically Charged (duration: 5 Adventures)

  • After the battle, you settle down on a spot <somewhere> and let the leylines restore you.

    You acquire an effect: Cartographically Charged (duration: 10 Adventures)

  • "Source of Health," you remember reading on the map, and follow the mental route to a spot <somewhere>.

    You acquire an effect: Cartographically Rooted (duration: 5 Adventures)

  • Your inner knowledge of the area around you has put you in touch with the very strength of the ground.

• Sometimes gives items after combat:
  • "Aroma of Juniper," was the label in this region. You look <somewhere> and find the source.
