Conspiratorial Whispers

Conspiratorial Whispers

Type: Combat
MP Cost: 25

With the help of your familiar, this skill will damage and delevel your opponents over time. It's a conspiracy!

Source: The Machine (with Turtle Tamer and Disco Bandit in chambers)
Price: N/A
Class: N/A
Level: N/A
Effect: Damages and delevels each round, based on familiar weight.
When Used:
You whisper to <FamName>. "You know what to do, <FamName>" is what you whisper.

Each round of combat:
<FamName> whispers, "toss me." You throw <FamName> at your opponent, hitting him for X damage and seriously confusing him.

Monster AttackMonster attack power reduced by Y
Monster DefenseMonster defense reduced by Z

  • This skill cannot be used if no familiar is active.
  • This does not take a combat round.
  • The damage and deleveling happen in each round of combat and continues for the rest of combat.
  • X (damage dealt) appears to be <FamWeight>, rounded randomly.
  • Y and Z (deleveling amount) appear to be <FamWeight>/4, rounded randomly.
  • The per-round messages vary:
<FamName> whispers, "toss me." You throw <FamName> at your opponent, hitting her for X damage and seriously confusing her.
You feint and dodge while <FamName> sneaks in close to your opponents and gives 'em the old hotfoot. You know how a hotfoot works, right? Neither do I. But it does X damage and delevels him, so that's good.
<FamName> weaves in and out of your opponent's legs, distracting and dizzying him while you sneak up behind him and lay the smack down for X damage.
You distract him while <FamName> hits him in the knees with a rock, dealing X damage and weakening him.
<FamName> does a classic vaudeville routine (it involves baseball players with confusing names) to distract him while you sneak up behind and poleaxe him. You do X damage, and your opponent is pretty demoralized by the whole ordeal.
<FamName> throws some sand in your opponent's eyes, enabling you to get in an extra hit for X damage. He blinks, trying to get his vision back.
You roll <FamName> at your opponent like a bowling ball, knocking him over for X damage and leaving him a little boggled by the encounter.
<FamName> whacks your opponent in the shins while you punch her in the face, doing a combined X damage and weakening her considerably.
<FamName> distracts her with a hilarious joke about a priest and a duck, while you rig up some dynamite underneath her. She laughs until her sides are sore, then gets blown up for X damage. Now that's comedy!

  • The message with the dynamite and the "Now that's comedy!" line is likely a reference to Animaniacs character Slappy Squirrel.
