Game of Cards
You encounter a group of rough-and-tumble cowboys playing a game of poker at one of the rare non-overturned tables in the Rowdy Saloon.
Before you know it, a chair skids across the floor as the result of a nearby brawl, hits you in the back of the knees, and you're sitting at the table and dealt in.

Play fair |
You play a fair hand of poker, and manage to win a little bit. Just a little bit, though. You should probably cheat if you want this to be profitable.
You acquire 7 Chroner |
Cheat a little (one sleeve deuce) |
You cheat like the dickens. Well, like a little dickens. You manage to play your cards right, and walk away from the hand the winner.
You acquire 9 Chroner |
Cheat a little more (two sleeve deuces) |
If caught cheating (20% chance):
You get caught cheating. The cowboys confiscate your deuces and toss you out into the muck of the thoroughfare.
Else:
You cheat like a medium-sized dickens, and win several Chroner.
You acquire 13 Chroner |
Cheat a lot (three sleeve deuces) |
If caught cheating (40% chance):
You get caught cheating. The cowboys confiscate your deuces and toss you out into the muck of the thoroughfare.
Else:
You cheat like the world's biggest dickens, and win a huge pot!
You acquire 17 Chroner |
Cheat like a lord (one pocket ace) |
Your ace in the pocket proves to be your ace in the hole. You convince all of the cowboys to go all in, and then you go out with all of it.
You acquire 21 Chroner |
Occurs at The Rowdy Saloon.
Notes
- The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th option requires 1/2/3 sleeve deuces, respectively. The 5th option requires and uses a pocket ace.
- If you get caught cheating, you will lose the deuces you used to cheat with.
