Some men substitute money for morals. Those men come in really handy if you're ever looking to hire somebody to do murders for you.
RE: Help! Desperados!
This guy is more interested in loot than in the camaraderie and fellowship of the other bandits, but loyalty to a paycheck is still a sort of loyalty.
RE: Missing: Pioneer Daughter
You encounter a mercenary gunman in Bloodmilk Cave, gaunt and twitchy. You've seen the look in his eyes before -- he's a milk-addict. The cow cultists her must be doling out their poison in exchange for protection.
You're not going to get any information out of this guy, but you're also not going to get past him without a fight.
RE: Big Gambling Tournament Announced
You should've expected that Snake-Eyes would have some hired muscle hanging around. I can't fault you for not expecting quite so many of them, though.
RE: Sheriff Wanted
This guy doesn't look like a local -- the Placid Lake Gang must've hired some additional muscle to help defend their territory.
Hey, wait a minute. They probably paid him with the Meat they stole from the Breadwood Merchants Association! That Meat is yours!
RE: Missing: Many Children
As you walk past one of the village's fog-shrouded alleyways, a man jumps out and tries to put a bag over your head. "Dangit," he says, "you looked like a kid from back there. This dang fog!"
RE: Wagon Train Escort Wanted
A lot of the Hackletons make money for the clan as hired guns. I wonder if this guy's planning to charge Granny for this fight. Something tells you that, as tough as this guy looks, he wouldn't even dare.
Hit Message(s):
"Nothing personal," he says, before shooting you in your personal <foot>. Ugh! Ugh! Ouch!
He shoots you right in the knee! Argh! That's the worst! Oof! Ouch! Oof!
His gun clicks empty, so he throws it at your head and pulls out another one. Ouch! Ooh! Ow!
"I don't like yer face," he says as he shoots you several times, "so this one's on the house." (CRITICAL HIT!) Ugh! Ow! Eek!
Before shooting you, he stops to fill out an invoice to his boss.
He takes a shot at you, but misses. He seems annoyed at having wasted a bullet.
He pauses to load his gun.
He seems to be wondering if he's being paid enough for this. (FUMBLE!)
