Hodgman's journal 1: The Lean Times
From TheKolWiki
Hodgman carried around a big pile of notebooks in which he scribbled his every thought. Be forewarned, though -- 99% of his thoughts were completely and utterly devoid of sanity. This is one of the first volumes, chronicling Hodgman's birth in a paper bag in the bottom of a sewer. His family was so poor, he writes, that he had to eat dirtclods for breakfast. (In-game plural: copies of Hodgman's journal #1) |

You read the journal from cover to cover. In between the bits where he describes firsthand experiences of stuff that happened years before he was born and the bits that are just huge lists of names with little drawings of shoes next to them, you find some really touching stories about Hodgman's childhood. Sad stuff.
