 You're fighting a lonely construct

You step through the shimmering portal into a small, featureless room with doors leading into identical corridors on each of the four walls.

You pick one at random, follow it, and find yourself in another, identical room. You repeat the process six (or seven, I forget,^[sic]) more times, and six (or seven) more times the result is the same. Through the seventh hallway (or the eighth) you find a slightly different room. Well, the room isn't different, but its contents are. Its contents are... er... its contents is a lonely-looking construct, listlessly gliding from corner to corner, wall to wall, humming silently to itself.

You almost feel sad, but you don't have time to actually feel sad, as the construct promptly notices you and glides toward you, somewhat more listfully than you feel comfortable with.

Hit Message(s):

The construct bellows "HOZEVE KUZGA NOGACHA. BULAZAK." It then grabs your <elbow> in one of its manipulators and gives it a wicked twist. Ow! Ow! Eek! Ugh! Oof! Eek! Ow! Eek! Oof!

The construct glides over to you and prods you with one of its manipulators. "Prod" here is being used in the sense of "cattle prod," and not in the non-electrified, non-painful sense. Ooh! Argh! Argh! Ow! Eek! Ugh! Oof! Oof! Oof!

The construct bellows "NO LAZAK NOGACHA." It glides toward you and attempts to force a stone sphere into your <groin>. Needless to say, it hurts, and doesn't fit properly.Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Eek! Ugh! Ow! Argh! Argh! Ow!

Critical Hit Message:

The construct bellows "LAZAK TATAZAK FUCHANOKCHA," as it grabs you by the <ear> with one manipulator and the <neck> with another. A blast of energy racks your body as current travels between the two. Ow! Argh! Ouch! Ow! Ouch! Ouch! Ugh! Ooh! Argh! Ow!

Miss Message(s):

The construct bellows "HOZEVE KUZGA NOGACHA. BULAZAK." It then grabs your <kidney> in one of its manipulators and gives it a wicked twist. Luckily, you like that kind of thing, so it doesn't faze you.

The construct sees you moving, and glides toward you. You stand very, very, very still, and it loses interest and glides off toward something else.

The construct bellows "NO LAZAK NOGACHA." It glides toward you and attempts to force a stone sphere into your <giblets>, but you've been practicing your <arse>-tightening exercies^[sic], so it bounces off harmlessly.

Fumble Message:

The construct bellows "BENOKBU HOZEVENOK SOMGASTA. CHOGAGAAN KUZGAHO SOM." It slowly glides over to a corner and sits motionless for several minutes. (FUMBLE!)

Command Sequences

• When instructed to MODIFY SPHERE with an El Vibrato power sphere in inventory:

The construct reaches into your sack with one of its manipulators, and pulls out one of the El Vibrato power spheres. It deposits it into a nearby wall receptacle, and there is a drone as the sphere becomes energized and begins to glow more brightly than before. It hands the new sphere to you.

You acquire an item: overcharged El Vibrato power sphere

• When instructed to REPAIR DRONE, with a broken El Vibrato drone in inventory:

The construct reaches into your sack with one of its manipulators, and pulls out a broken El Vibrato drone. The manipulator closes around the broken drone and spins around for a few seconds. Its repair work apparently complete, it hands you back the drone. (consumes broken El Vibrato drone)

You acquire an item: repaired El Vibrato drone

• When instructed to REPAIR SELF:

The construct reaches out with one of its wrench-like manipulators and tightens several of its joints.

• When instructed to REPAIR TARGET:

The construct reaches out with one of its wrench-like manipulators and attempts to tighten your arms. It hurts.

You lose some hit points.
