Mer-kin killscroll
From TheKolWiki
This damp scroll has a few words on it, apparently written in some sort of waterproof ink. The language uses letters and punctuation that you recognize, but the words themselves hold no meaning to you. The choice of font makes the text look decidedly... sinister. (In-game plural: Mer-kin killscrolls) |

When Used
- Against any Mer-kin except Ringogeorge, the Bladeswitcher, Georgepaul, the Balldodger or Johnringo, the Netdragger:
You attempt to read the strange text on the scroll. As you finally manage to stumble through it and get the last word out, you see the blood drain from the <creature>'s face as He takes 1500-2000 damage worth of pure terror. Huh. |
- Against anything else:
You attempt to read the strange text on the scroll. You think you managed to pronounce most of the words correctly, but nothing happens. Oh well. You stuff the scroll back in your pocket. |
Notes
- The killscroll is subject to the Mer-kin raider's soft cap for damage, and as such will only do between 591-652 damage to that particular monster.
- When you have studied the Mer-kin language, the following message is sometimes appended to the end of the use text, revealing one of the secret words for the Mer-kin dreadscroll:
- "Something about the words on that scroll sticks in your mind. You actually did recognize one of them: '<word>'. Strange."
