moneybee You're fighting a moneybee

Most bees extract pollen from flowers, and use it to make honey, which is then sold to local grocery stores and the profits used for the betterment of the hive.

Some enterprising bees have discovered that they can skip all that hard work by just mugging people in the street instead.

Hit Message(s):

You point out that it shouldn't be able to fly, aerodynamically, and it crashes down on your head. Eek!

Which stings worse: the knowledge you'll never be a rock star, or the sting you just got in the arse? I'm guessing the latter. Ugh!

It slops honey onto you. It gets in your hair and your ears and . . . ugh. Argh! (sleaze damage)

It says, "hand over your meat and I'll sting you!" Before you can ask, "didn't you mean or," you take a trip to ouchville. Ow!

Critical Hit Message:

It spits honey at you, then drops you in a nearby anthill. After a few minutes, you finally manage to crawl out with what's left of your skin. Ooh! Ow!

Miss Message(s):

It stops attacking you to go mug someone across the street.

It counts its ill-gotten gains instead of attacking you this round.

It buzzes around your head. Irritating, but not painful.

It spits honey at you, but you dodge, pumpkin.

Fumble Message:

You point out that, aerodynamically speaking, it shouldn't be able to fly, and it lands for a bit to google an appropriate rejoinder. (FUMBLE!)

After Combat

Meat.gifYou gain ?-126-168-? Meat.
Honeyglob.gifYou acquire an item: handful of honey (??.??% chance)*
You gain 3-7 <substat>.

  • The hit message about bees not being able to fly is a reference to the urban myth that scientists' calculations show that bees should not be able to fly. The fumble message to the same effect alludes to the falseness of this claim.
