Notes from the Elfpocalypse, Chapter I
This is the first in a series of bound volumes that tell of the Pork Elves' great migration to the moons, and what befell them there. There are probably lots of songs and poems in here, and lots of lists of genealogy. Dive in!

|. . . and thus was the great evil driven from the Land of Loathing, and the Pork Elves did rejoice that the long-time foe of peace and prosperity had been laid low. Yet in his heart, Brucerond Gamechanger was troubled, for he knew that the age of the Pork Elves was waning upon the Land, and the Time of the Adventurer was beginning.
And the Elves did try to put up with the Adventurers of Loathing, but found them to be crude, lacking in table manners, and producers of noxious fumes if they ate too much roughage. Thus did the Elves sail to the Lands Beyond the Sea, there to return when the Adventurers needed them most.
Or so the Elves did say, but in reality, their boats were for space-faring, and they sailed unto the Moons, there to live their immortal days far from obnoxious short-lived punks.
You feel a little wiser and stronger for having read that.
