This is a skelelton covered with a thick layer of bony spikes. Or maybe they're spiky bones, you're not sure.
It headbutts you with its spikey head. Eww. I mean, Ow. Ouch! Argh! (spooky damage)
It kicks you with a spiky foot. You feel twelve inches of pain. Ugh! Eek! (spooky damage)
It pokes you in the eyes with two boney fingers. Nyuk nyuk nyuk! Ugh! Ow! (spooky damage)
It whips off several of its spikes and throws them at you. More spikes grow where he broke the others off, and he impales you with those, too. All in all, it's a pretty unpleasant experience. Ow! Eek! (spooky damage)
It tries to spikily bone you, but only succeeds in bonily spiking you, which hurts much less.
It tries to headbutt you with its spikey head, but gets the spikes stuck in the wall. Y'know, that wall over there.
It tries to kick you with a spiky foot, but you block that kick. You kickblocker, you.
It tries to poke you in the eyes with its boney fingers, but you block with the side of your hand.
He does a series of elaborate kung-fu moves, swinging his boney spikes at you in a whirling dervish of needly pain. Fortunately, he's standing about two feet to the left of you, so none of the attacks hit. (FUMBLE!)

- The hit message involving getting poked in the eyes and the miss message involving the block are a Three Stooges reference. Nyuk, nyuk, nyuk was a catchphrase of theirs, especially Curly. The similar fumble message may also reference the movie "Army of Darkness", in which Bruce Campbells's character blocks being poked in the eyes by a skeleton the same way.
- The hit message involving getting kicked refers to the fact that 12 inches is equivalent to one foot.
