Spooky deals extra damage to enemies with a sleaze or cold subtype, and negligible damage to spooky-based monsters.

Spooky is one of the five main elements that can be found in the Kingdom. Damage from this element is called spooky damage.

Mechanics

  • Spooky does double damage against monsters with a type of sleaze or cold.
  • Spooky does a total of 1 damage against monsters with a type of spooky.
  • Spooky does normal damage against monsters with any other element type.
  • Spooky monsters take double damage from hot and stench attacks.

  • Exotic Parrot (Slight (+1), 9-28 lbs) (So-So (+2), 29-48 lbs) (Serious (+3), 49+ lbs)

The following spells always deal spooky damage:

These Pastamancer spells may be any element:

Using Flavour of Magic and casting Spirit of Wormwood will set these pasta spells to spooky damage. Otherwise, element is determined randomly.

The Pastamancer spell Weapon of the Pastalord will deal half physical and half elemental damage if tuned to a specific element.

Additionally, Dirge of Dreadfulness increases the damage of spooky spells only.

Having Necrotelicomnicon or The Necbromancer's Stein equipped in the off-hand will change the element of all Pastamancer combat spells (with the exception of Weapon of the Pastalord and Fearful Fettucini) to spooky when equipped.

Equipping a chiffon chaps deals 11 spooky damage each round.
