Monster level decrease REALLY 5-9?

It's one handed, which, correct me if I'm wrong, gives the possibility of a 18 monster level decrease. That seems insanely high. --Linkman95 20:09, 25 June 2007 (CDT)

• Monster Level decrease on a weapon is always equal to the base damage of the weapon, which in this case is 5-9. An antique spear, in comparison, decreases ML by 20-40 per hit. --Drab Emordnilap 12:05, 13 July 2007 (CDT)
