The description implies that it lowers monster level. I propose spading to determine whether dodge/hit ratios are effected and see if stats gains are altered. --Dantose 14:54, 9 March 2007 (CST)

This is a fairly obvious reference to Batman Begins--Bruce Wayne gets hit with some powder that makes him hallucinate his worst fears while doing some ninja training on an icy mountain. Mr muffinpantz 00:29, 9 March 2007 (CST)

Defenitely deleveling:

  • Stat gains fearless: 15 16 15 14 15 17 15 16 15 14 => average: 15.2
  • Stat gains no fearless: 17 16 18 19 20 17 18 17 21 18 => average: 18.1

I can also very clearly see the dodge ratios on my TT with threshold 83 moxie. I don't get hit anymore when fearless. Also don't miss on the Weaponmaster with 93 muscle, where I do without fearless. You'd need more samples to get a good average, but looking at the averages, it's s somewhere in the order 10-15ML. --MoreCurious 09:00, 10 March 2007 (CST)

I think it is a minus 10 to monster level. I can now consistently kill the ghost miner with him having 9 HP left - which would seem to indicate a minus 10 to ML. --Dakx 17:36, 24 March 2007 (CST)

With this effect the ninja snowmen have exactly 62 HP instead of their regular 70. Since HP are 80% of level, this supports a -10 to ML. --Dunsel 08:50, 2 October 2007 (CDT)
