For some reason Dee's nuts taste better than yours.

Possible References

I see two possible, but a bit stretchy, references in the description of this item. First:

• "This is a handful of walnuts picked by hippies. Well, not actually picked -- that'd be cruel."

Seems a little like a line from "If I Had a Million Dollars" by Barenaked Ladies. "I'd buy you a fur coat. But not a real fur coat, that's cruel."

• "Either that or they just fell off, and trees don't actually have feelings."

The end of this phrase is very vaguely like a line in Nirvana's "Something in the Way". "It's ok to eat fish, 'cause they don't have any feelings."
