There are a few problems with the differentiation between the single right quote (’) and the apostrophe ('). First of all, the correct punctuation to use in the case of possesives, contractions, and slang is the apostrophe, not the single right quote. Second, some text browsers do not have the ability to reproduce the single right quote correctly. Third, the in-game name of the item "Uncle Jick's Brownie Mix" is spelled with an apostrophe, not a single right quote.
It seems arbitrary to use the right quote when a) it is not the correct punctuation mark to use, b) it makes the page look bad when viewed with certain browsers, and c) it's not the actual item name. It is almost wasteful to use the right quote, when the apostrophe is easier to input, regardless of being more correct.
Thus, I am changing the item reference from "Uncle Jick’s Brownie Mix" to "Uncle Jick's Brownie Mix."
Is it just me, or is the reference of herb being another word for marijuana WILDLY wrong and inaccurate? The word herb is not another word for marijuana. In this context, herb connotes marijuana. However, herb cannot in any way or at any time, be defined as marijuana, ever. The message the sentence is attempting to express makes sense, but it really must be rephrased. --TeeAyeDoubleGuhErr 19:10, 16 June 2006 (CDT)
Isn't putting marijuana in brownies a reference to the movie Dick? I'm pretty sure it is.--Wallawalla23 21:34, 7 July 2006 (CDT)
- It's more of a reference to putting marijuana in brownies, which has been around much longer than that movie. --Drab Emordnilap 20:04, 11 February 2007 (CST)
