Bandits voting on their item, despite losing

I'm probably not in a position to muse about TPTB's motivation and whether or not Jick actually forgot who won the last time, but I'd like to write this down before all of us forget and the page looks as if the Lords got screwed on this or anything: For the first two rewards, which the Time Lords lost, they got what was generally conceived as the more desirable reward. Which was also brought up by members of both teams in the aftermath of those events. The previous competition was lost by the Bandits and they got to choose what they preferred for a change.

I'd have to watch the pertinent part of the stream again, but it seemed like a genuine mistake, and by the time they realized it, it was too late. But yes, I can see the possibility that the whole thing was a purposeful reversal, and I didn't catch the joke. --Prestige (talk) 03:28, 24 November 2014 (UTC)
