Notes
- Prizes are delivered in a raffle prize box, so that those in Hardcore or Ronin may receive their prizes without gaining a significant advantage over other players.
- Raffle tickets can be purchased using funds from Hagnk's Ancestral Mini-Storage.
- When you enter anything other than a positive number as the amount of tickets to buy, you get the response
- Buying less than one ticket is... unwise.
- From November 5, 2008 until February 22, 2016, there were 2 hatchlings and 5 plans per day. The exception to this is the hammer, in which there was 10 plans.
- Regarding alts or multis: TPTB have made it clear that 4 different people should win prizes. If two accounts are run by the same person and win prizes on the same drawing, they beckon the wrath of Multi Czar.
History
- The Raffle House opened on June 13, 2006.
- New first prizes appeared on June 25, 2007, with the advent of NS13.
- Starting January 9th, 2008, special first and second prizes were listed to be given away, due to a large confiscation of items from disabled accounts, related to the exploitation of two infinite meat bugs. Details of the prizes for the 45 day event is on the 2008 IotM Recycling page.
- October 15, 2008 - The Raffle House was closed for an undisclosed reason.
- November 4, 2008 - The Raffle House reopened, offering a mutant cactus bud for first prize and plans for depleted Grimacite hammer for second prize.
- February 22, 2016 - New high-tech prizes replaced the existed ones, and the ticket price was raised from 1,000 to 10,000 Meat.
- February 6, 2017 - The list of winners got a new column, showing how many tickets each winner purchased the previous day.
- April 6, 2021 - An announcement in chat (/updates): The Raffle House has (perfectly legimately) acquired a large number of valuable items, and will be giving them away over the next several hundred days.
This was probably due to the large number of suspended accounts in the 11 years since the last IotM recycling event.- Daily prize history is on the 2021 IotM Recycling page.
- On October 9, 2022, the IotM Recycling Raffles ended without an announcement, and the previous prizes returned.
- The Raffle House was originally located on the Right Side of the Tracks. The original Raffle House was constructed on the former site of the LAAAAME Observatory. It was relocated to Bordertown during the skeleton invasion.
- In a Zombie Slayer run, the Raffle House has burned down:
- The Raffle house has been burned down to the ground. It seems that the Penguins had a plan ready in case of disaster. Not that anyone is likely to go searching the place for evidence of criminal activity in these circumstances, but why waste a good plan, I guess?
