Combat Messages
- Regular messages:
- The little orphan girl frisks your fallen opponent for candy, and weirdly enough she finds some. Her dance of joy brings a smile to your face.
You gain X hit points. You gain Y Mana Points. - <name> dances around the corpse, shouting "Take that, mean ol' monster!" and then searches their pockets for candy. She's gonna be a damn fine adventurer one day.
You gain X hit points. You gain Y Mana Points. - "Trick or treat!" <name> yells at your fallen foe. With their last breath, they dump a handful of candy in her bucket. How heartwarming!

Arena Messages
- None - familiar has no weaknesses.
Notes
- HP and MP restoration is floor((weight+5)/2) to weight+5 like a Ghuol Whelp with a 100% activation rate.
- Costumes appear in stores and as drops only for players who have a Tot.
- Costumes drop from certain types of monsters and will drop even if the Tot is not the active familiar.
- From pirates:
- You find an adorable little pirate costume that presumably was intended either for a cabin boy or a rather large parrot. It does kind of smell like a parrot. A pirate would probably give his parrot a higher-quality costume, though, which is why you’re leaning toward cabin boy.
You acquire an item: li'l pirate costume
- From ninjas:
- You find a little ninja trainee costume, which is presumably what ninja teachers give the students after beating the idea of ninjas wearing hunter orange out of them. It’s a little ragged — whoever owned this one before must not have been a very good student.
You acquire an item: li'l ninja costume
- From clowns:
- You find a tiny clown costume that would probably fit a tot. It’s not in the greatest condition — probably the monkey or imp or whatever that was wearing it previously didn’t treat it very well — but she probably won’t mind.
You acquire an item: li'l clown costume
- When trick-or-treating, this familiar doubles candy drops from lit houses:
- "Twick or Tweet!" <name> shouts, and does an adorable little dance, which scores her an extra fistful of candy.
- <name> gives the occupant an extra-wide smile, staring unblinking at them until they get uncomfortable and give her some extra candy to stop.
- As <name> takes a big handful of candy from the candy bowl, you say "Now now, how do good adventurers behave?", whereupon she takes a second handful. She learns quick!
- Additionally, the Tot sometimes (20% of the time) replaces a normal lit house with a Prunets drop:
- "You know there's a candy tax, right kiddo?" you say to <name>. She gives you a little side-eye and also a box of chocolate-covered prunes.
- <name> sorts through the candy in her bucket and says "These ones must be for grown-ups 'coz they're nasty," and hands you a box.
- <name> looks at the box of candy she found and squeaks "Ew, gross! Here daddy[sic]
You acquire an item: Prunets - Note: Prunets can replace outfit candies, but since the Tot also doubles the amount of non-Prunets candy per house, you get (~60%) more outfit candy on average than you would without the Tot.
