Basic Info
DataVortex (#307256) is my main, a hardcore ascender, and RooR (#906943) is my speed ascender multi. I resisted having a multi for a long time, but during oxycore play I just didn't have enough adventures, and I got sick of getting screwed on crimbo. I created RooR on May 12, 2006, and in 257 days (Jan. 23, 2007) I softcore permed all the skills except for Spirit of Rigatoni, which I took after NS13. After NS13, my fondness for the speed game waned, on account of the speed game was simply less speedy. These days I mainly diamond with my main.
I started playing in late 2004. I have taken a couple breief hiatuses since that have lasted for a few months, and cost me a couple time-limited trophies (grr).

I listen to the radio shows in pocast format every week (I love you, Stargazer!), and I went back and listened to the full archives back to the beginning. I attempted to listen to the radio for a while but my music tastes are just too absurd and abnormal. I try to hang out in chat but I'm relatively bad at that since I'm usually thinking when I'm playing rather than button mashing. I use KoLMafia to optimize the real-world time I have to devote while optimizing my ascension strategy. I've penned a handful of scripts I'm pretty proud of, and contributed a couple bug reports and bucks to the project. Shwei is the motherfucking bomb. I went to Kolanta 2007, KoLCon IV and KoLCon V and had a blast at all three. I occasionally enjoy editing the wiki, keeping the information fresh and usable, playing grammarian, and playing a bit with the templating and stuff. I also like checking the references sections and cleaning them up and adding relevant links. Sometimes I leave questions on discussion pages, thanks for answering them.

- On 7/30/06 RooR was #8 in Knob lo mein consumption, with 32 eaten.
- On the evening of 3/28/07 RooR took the #10 spot on the no-path softcore speed ascender board in my first one-day ascension with 338 adventures (screenshot). It lasted for a few hours before I got bumped by DarthDud.
