User talk:Fig bucket
I need help with the Saucy Foods redirect :( it's still not right. Nonbeanary
- Should be working now, just had the wrong capitalization. --Fig bucket (talk) 17:48, 16 July 2021 (UTC)
I didn't overwrite you. I was already working on it for a while. I added in your messages as well. In fact, I changed some of my "categories" to what you had.
I felt it was easier than adding mine to yours.--Raijinili
Ah, I see, you moved and changed some sections. Sorry; nevermind. :)--Fig bucket 12:53, 30 August 2008 (CDT)

Stale cheer wine
I'm sure it is something very simple and obvious that I am missing, but I can not figure out how to add the item name and thumbnail to the page Stale cheer wine --The Fig Master (talk) 03:55, 28 February 2018 (UTC)
- That comes from the meta-data page---each item has a corresponding page in the Data: namespace, which stores the name, plural, and image. This lets those fields be used in other contexts than just the item page itself. --Fig bucket (talk) 12:08, 28 February 2018 (UTC)
- Oh, got it. I was wondering what the purpose of the meta-data page was. Thank you for the help, I really appreciate it. --The Fig Master (talk) 15:08, 28 February 2018 (UTC)
Shagadelic Disco Banjos
Yes, smithing two at a time should give the correct result. I assume you used Spooky Putty to fight Beelzebozo twice and thus acquire two vials of mojo (or perhaps "vial of mojos", though we'll never be able to find that one out since it doesn't satisfy any of the necessary criteria). --Quietust (t|c) 21:44, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
- Yup, that was the trick---if you know of any way to get the plural from my 10 vials of mojo let me know asap, I'm going to ascend this character soon... --Fig bucket 21:47, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
- If by any chance you still have thouse, you can /count them now. --Flargen 01:27, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
- Sadly, that character has long ascended. :( --Fig bucket 01:52, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
Suggested Common.js Changes
I went ahead and made your suggested changes. I didn't really look at what they actually did so let me know if something isn't working properly. --SomeStranger (t|c) 01:18, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
Thanks! One minor problem is that it still doesn't recognize "-" as a numeric value---or rather it does, but then it also recognizes it as a stat due to the test right afterward, and overwrites the sorting function. If I can trouble you for one other small change, making line 227:
if ((!doopt || sortfn!=ts_sort_numeric) && itm.match(/^(?:\d+ [Mm](?:uscle|ysticality|oxie)|-|[Nn]one)$/))
--Fig bucket 01:51, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
- Mhmmmm.--SomeStranger (t|c) 05:15, 22 February 2009 (UTC)
How Dry I Am
What is your problem?? Merriam Webster: desiccated - One entry found. Merriam Webster: dessicated - The word you've entered isn't in the dictionary. --JungleSlug 13:38, 24 July 2009 (UTC)
- Can you follow links? Please make an effort and actually read the ones I provided. It's not that complex: dessicate is a perfectly acceptable variant of desiccate. It may not be the one you are most familiar with, but it is correct, not a typo, and not a misspelling. --Fig bucket 17:37, 24 July 2009 (UTC)
You didn't provide any links that I could see. You said "Read the talk" (there was nothing that I could see relating to the spelling) and "do a google search" which just documents all the places people have misspelled it. Common misspelling does not make it correct; Webster's note that it is a "variant spelling of desiccate" is well hidden, and implies that desiccate is, in actuality, the preferred spelling. But, I guess my degrees in English, sociology and linguistic anthropology were just a waste of money because I don't know what I'm talking about, right?--JungleSlug 18:49, 24 July 2009 (UTC)
- Fig bucket, every other time that Jick used the word desiccated, it's been spelled the non-variant way. Most dictionaries don't even list the variant spelling and even when they do, it's just a "variant spelling". Unless they did it on purpose, it's a typo. --CG1:t,c,e 19:13, 24 July 2009 (UTC)
- Hmm. I can't find any evidence of it being written in KoL other than in that description, which rather suggests the complete opposite interpretation---can you give me a link to any of the other examples? And why do think "variant spelling" = misspelling?. Those are different concepts entirely. --Fig bucket 19:49, 24 July 2009 (UTC)
- The first thing that comes to mind is desiccated apricot.--Toffile 20:05, 24 July 2009 (UTC)
- And you didn't mark it as a typo?? :) Fine, I give in, perhaps they do prefer that spelling. I still don't think the typo tag should be used to mark text that is not technically incorrect. --Fig bucket 20:35, 24 July 2009 (UTC)
- The first thing that comes to mind is desiccated apricot.--Toffile 20:05, 24 July 2009 (UTC)
Just to note, the two links that you did eventually provide, Fig bucket, were essentially mirror links to the same source material. Also, despite its similar name, webster-dictionary.net does not appear to be related to, or affiliated with, Merriam Webster. Given this deception it is a source I would regard with some caution.--JungleSlug 20:47, 24 July 2009 (UTC)
Incidentally, desiccated is also found in the description for Lord Spookyraven (twice)--CG1:t,c,e 23:49, 24 July 2009 (UTC)
Food page
I'm sorry that you ended up doing that by hand. I was going to get around to it with automation, it said so as much in my comment when I dropped the stuff in there. --MindlessGames 20:58, 7 November 2009 (UTC)
Hey, did you add the standard column and data by hand in terms of the y/n on the food page or is there a way to do that automatically? It would be good on spleen too but looking at the code I didn't see if there was a way to automate that. --Random42 (talk) 03:29, 13 March 2020 (UTC)
- Creating the table is automated (mostly), and for the additional column I scraped the Standard restrictions 2020 page. The spleen page is much smaller, so automating it didn't ever seem worthwhile. --Fig bucket (talk) 12:07, 13 March 2020 (UTC)

Mathematical Symbols
Hmm.. I like the idea, but they look really, really bad. I'm used to ceil() notation kind of like that, but they just look terrible even to me. --RoyalTonberry 19:20, 7 August 2010 (UTC)
- Oh, I thought they looked ok...maybe a little smaller than ideal, but not too bad. If that's the concern does 1 size up look better? --Fig bucket 19:37, 7 August 2010 (UTC)
- ⌈Test⌉ ⌈Test⌉
- That definitely looks a whole lot better. --RoyalTonberry 19:57, 7 August 2010 (UTC)
- I brought this up on discussion once, and toyed with implementing a template. That might be the way to go since it makes changing the style much easier if someone comes up with a better way. --Starwed 14:34, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
- That's a good idea. Actually, to be up-to-date html and work in more generic contexts maybe it should be more like: ⌈Test⌉ --Fig bucket 14:59, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah, that's better than picking a specific font size. I created the floor template called "Fl" since floor is already used for the actual math function. "Cl" is taken, so I guess it'd have to be "Fl" and "Ceil"? Shouldn't matter too much. There are many many places where using the mathematical notation should make it a lot easier to parse templates... information about how stuff rounds is occasionally important, but most of the time just gets in the way of readability. --Starwed 15:26, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
- I would even say just replace the current template:cl uses in the 7 pages it's on with regular category links and appropriate cl for the ceil function. --timrem 15:56, 8 August 2010 (UTC)

Prismatic Damage
Having the prismatic damage template will be helpful, but you want to backburner implementing that on the Scarecrow's message pages...the damage (which isn't prismatic..it's all seven possible damage slots including physical and off-hand) appears to be more than a bug than a feature.--Foggy 18:41, 1 November 2011 (CET)
- Ok, thanks...having 2 fields for what seemed to be physical damage seemed odd, but I figured whenever that was clarified it would be easy to change in the template...I'll wait and see what's going on with it before modifying further though... --Fig bucket 18:49, 1 November 2011 (CET)

basement
I changed all the links to just Basement because they were moved (back when 1for42 was moving zones to image names instead of actual names), and I decided to remove the redirect linkages. They should (in most, if not all, cases) have the full name instead of just Basement. — Cool12309 (talk) 04:23, 3 July 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, that seems preferable; (almost) all changed to be the correct name now. --Fig bucket (talk) 12:22, 3 July 2013 (UTC)
wrapper
Thanks for reading the forums, but restore it. JLE and a bunch of us were talking in /hc and I think we decided that pre-released items should be on the wiki, and that said users should not receive hate by the dev team for doing so. — Cool12309 (talk) 20:56, 3 July 2013 (UTC)
- It seemed appropriate to delete it, since Jick has clearly expressed intense dislike for people pre-releasing things they really don't want releasing, the page had already been wiped anyway (so clearly it wasn't a page beloved by all), Jick came out on record as highly annoyed by it being out there in the forum thread, and the item was deleted from the game anyway. I don't think we need to respect all Jick's wishes by any means, and it is a spoiler-oriented site, but I also don't see why we'd want to antagonize the people who actually make all this content for what amounts to such a very minor thing.
- tl;dr: Trying to balance interests and impact, I don't think it should be restored, but if a consensus to do so manages to form before the item is released anyway then I've no objection. --Fig bucket (talk) 22:23, 3 July 2013 (UTC)
- cool12309, you were right to post a new thing here. jick had a right to be pissed off about it, although being annoyed at you in such a way wasn't his finest hour. because he was pissed off we had to take it down and shouldn't put it back. bottom line? it's his content. we post it because he lets us. never forget that. --Evilkolbot (talk) 23:12, 3 July 2013 (UTC)
- I think when it gets put back, there should be quote in the note section: "Hey, and thanks a lot to the asshole who put it on the wiki. Real cool." ~Jick. I think that quote should always be a part of this items history. ~Erich t/c 23:40, 3 July 2013 (UTC)
- Apparently jick disagrees about history since he replaced that post on the forum with the word "redacted". Which seems pointless since four different people quote him. LoL! --Bale (talk) 23:51, 3 July 2013 (UTC)
- The new item of the month was released, and it has to do with hot dogs. Good guess this was implemented (it now has fixed description, image, can be traded, a stat requirement, and an enchantment!), so can you restore please? — Cool12309 (talk) 01:49, 4 July 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, now released, no longer controversial. :) Will need some content revision though... --Fig bucket (talk) 02:00, 4 July 2013 (UTC)

Template:Item
Template:Item needs a category update: If the type is "combat (reusable)" it needs to go in the Combat Items and Reusable Combat Items categories. If it is "combat / usable item (reusable item)", same as above and Usable Items category. — Cool12309 (talk) 18:05, 10 July 2013 (UTC)
- Done. (nb: I double-checked the in-game text, and assumed you meant "combat item (reusable)" and "combat / usable item (reusable)".) --Fig bucket (talk) 21:03, 10 July 2013 (UTC)
Trivial update. Food and booze now need an effect and duration field. Best I can tell you is between size/potency and autosell. — Cool12309 (talk) 23:54, 11 July 2013 (UTC)
- Done. --Fig bucket (talk) 00:31, 12 July 2013 (UTC)
Type "usable (once per day)" (fishy pipe) needs support for effect and duration as well. — Cool12309 (talk) 16:57, 12 July 2013 (UTC)
- That seems to be already working, so I didn't change anything. --Fig bucket (talk) 01:19, 30 July 2013 (UTC)
Type "potion (usable once per day)" needs effect/duration as well. (Also I think it doesn't give it the right categories, I think this is the first time this type has been used) — Cool12309 (talk) 04:17, 28 July 2013 (UTC)
- Ok, effect/duration works, and autocats as usable. --Fig bucket (talk) 01:19, 30 July 2013 (UTC)
- Oh also, type "potion" with level requirements gives a weird category of ERROR (By Level Requirement) — Cool12309 (talk) 06:05, 28 July 2013 (UTC)
- That's in Hunger™ Sauce right? This is new; no other potions have level reqs do they---might be a typo, or a new mechanic...any other examples of potions that have level requirements? --Fig bucket (talk) 01:19, 30 July 2013 (UTC)

Kinda related, Template:Skill needs a duration parameter. Example: Song of the North (skill). — Cool12309 (talk) 02:44, 1 August 2013 (UTC)
- Done --Fig bucket (talk) 13:41, 1 August 2013 (UTC)
- Unrelated, but don't feel like making a new section. Would it be possible to make a category for Clan Trophies missing their plural? A bunch of new trophies came out and it's hard to keep track of which need it and which don't. — Cool12309 (talk) 05:51, 1 August 2013 (UTC)
- They should now start to show up in Category:Unrecognized Plurals (a separate category for clan trophies seemed overkill for such a short-term concern, which is not really so different from other missing plurals). --Fig bucket (talk) 13:41, 1 August 2013 (UTC)
- Clan trophies need support for "!" as plural, similar to items. Showing in the same category as the items should be fine. — Cool12309 (talk) 04:53, 4 August 2013 (UTC)

Mini-adv
All the subclass pages of the Mini-Adventurer pages don't have a dash in their names (Mini Adventurer/Mini-Seal Clubber). Could you move them without redirects to have the - in their name? I can take care of the red links. — Cool12309 (talk) 19:39, 22 July 2013 (UTC)
- Ok, done. --Fig bucket (talk) 22:26, 22 July 2013 (UTC)
Folders
So, we need a new field for items for adding this:
- (When inserted into a Folder Holder.)
2 lines below the enchantment. See folder (blue). Also, in inventory they all use File:folder2.gif, but they then use a much bigger (read: different) image in the description. How do we deal with that? — Cool12309 (talk) 04:11, 2 August 2013 (UTC)
- (nb: isp troubles currently; will get to this next week if no one else does --Fig bucket (talk) 01:45, 9 August 2013 (UTC))
- Text added. Also, my feeling is that we should just use the bigger image---the item pages represent the item descriptions as viewed when you click on them, not as they are in the inventory (otherwise why would we show text, enchantment etc). --Fig bucket (talk) 23:17, 16 August 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, but using the big image would break lots of things in other places (and I don't know how the item template works, but it could bug spacing) that use them. Maybe just putting them in notes would be fine, or add a bigimage= optional field to item data pages. — Cool12309 (talk) 03:59, 17 August 2013 (UTC)
- I added an image= parameter to the item template, which lets you override the default image on just the item page. --Fig bucket (talk) 15:09, 18 August 2013 (UTC)

- IIRC, we don't add (new) links into the copied game description text. Note that the footer template provides a link to the holder itself, so there's still a link to the item. --Fig bucket (talk) 18:43, 22 August 2013 (UTC)
Zone Images
Any reason you're changing the image field to croppedImage? It's making it so no image appears at all — Cool12309 (talk) 14:26, 27 August 2013 (UTC)
- Where do you mean---the croppedImage parameter is only used if there is there is no image parameter (or it's blank), so unless I made an error in that it shouldn't be any worse than it was... --Fig bucket (talk) 16:11, 27 August 2013 (UTC)
- Like the hidden city things. No image appears for me. Should it? — Cool12309 (talk) 17:08, 27 August 2013 (UTC)
- For the The Hidden Park and A Massive Ziggurat you should (via the croppedImage), but not for the others yet. There were no images for any of the hidden city locations, since the (new) individual locations images are just part of the big area image and not given as separate files. In the past, and for other locations that are also represented in-game as parts of a single larger image, people have used photoshop/gimp/whatever to cut out a piece of the area image and uploaded them separately to use for the location info-boxes. The idea with the croppedImage is that we wouldn't need that extra step; we could base everything off of the larger area image, and just specify size and offsets to get an individual location thumbnail-like image for an info-box.
There is also still some work to be done for the locations that are composed of a base image + a text overlay (such as the 4 discovered locations in the hidden city), but that should be straightforward to add in later. --Fig bucket (talk) 17:49, 27 August 2013 (UTC)

Skill Template
Summon Annoyance is "Cost: 11 swagger". The current parameter is mpcost, which shows "MP Cost: X". How should we implement it? A generic cost that can we define with costtype? A swaggercost parameter? — Cool12309 (talk) 04:33, 1 September 2013 (UTC)
- A blank costtype and including the units in mpcost makes it look ok for now. Ultimately, 'mpcost' might be better rename as 'cost', and a new suffix parameter added, but that's a lot of editing, so maybe later. --Fig bucket (talk) 23:46, 1 September 2013 (UTC)
Best Foods / Drinks
- I don't quite follow the new colorscheme. It seems to be based on adv/size, and broadly follow the quality colors. How do you determine the particular color values, and what are they meant to convey?
- Also, is it intended that these tables be automatically generated rather than user updated? If so, it would probably be good to note that on the page somehow.
- Finally, thanks for the work you've put into it, they're awesome! :) --Darkcodelagsniper (talk) 13:26, 11 November 2013 (UTC)
- Glad you like them! The colours are loosely based on quality. Making a distinct colour for every full/adv ratio seemed like a lot of work, and would make the distinctions between the colours quite subtle too, so I made groupings of 4 related colours for each of the quality ranks, plus a lower and and upper level as well: pinks for exceptionally good things (>8), purples for epic (>5), blues for awesome (>3), greens for good (>2) , yellow/oranges for decent (>=1.25), grays for crappy (>=1), and darker steel-grays for the really bad (<1). Within a grouping the 4 colours just cycle. The whole table is indeed automatically generated, which was part of the reason for the recolouring---I didn't want the colours for specific foods/levels to change dramatically each time I regenerated it if something was added/deleted, so this way the grouping colour is at least stable, and within a group it's not a huge difference. Anyway, easy to change if people don't like the colours or can come up with better colour schemes. Manual changes to the tables are perfectly fine, as long as they are also reflected in the base food/drink pages, and will keep it more recent---part of the goal in changing the table was to make it easier to manually update, unlike the previous one with its awesome-but-horrible-to-edit rowspans. It may change a little bit when I regenerate it (mainly due to the in-group colour cycling), but nothing important should be lost. (Also, I was going to post the scripts here in case anyone else wants to run/modify them...I was hesitating because of uncertainty in where exactly to put them, as well as the size (25K) and unflattering code quality.) --Fig bucket (talk) 22:22, 11 November 2013 (UTC)
Element tuning
- I think we need a new tag for notes: Ol' Scratch's manacles says NOTE: This item's elemental tuning only applies to Pastamancer Spells. There's probably others. — Cool12309 (talk) 21:12, 15 November 2013 (UTC)
- From what I saw this is just changing the text for the
spelltype
parameter, so I changed that to match. nb: some applications of that previously to pastamancer and sauceror are now just to sauceror...fixed a few, not sure of all... --Fig bucket (talk) 22:08, 15 November 2013 (UTC)
- From what I saw this is just changing the text for the
Muesli/müesli
I, too, wasn't sure whether too accept "muesli", but came to the conclusion that since it would be pronounced differently, "müesli" is preferable. May I suggest that we leave it to the devs? If they insist on this spelling, I will say no more on this subject. Regards, --Blargh (talk) 12:27, 16 December 2013 (UTC)
- I didn't think this was particularly controversial. The wikipedia link you provided spells it without an umlaut throughout the article, only using a ü when referring to the original (Swiss-)German etymology. Enchanted muesli is another example without an umlaut. You could ask on the radio show to confirm it either way though. --Fig bucket (talk) 14:02, 16 December 2013 (UTC)
Pipes on the left
Why are you putting all the pipes on the left? They've historically been on the left but putting them on the left is bad, so they've been slowly been put on the right in new templates and pages where possible. If you are standardising because old pages have them on the left please don't. Exploriface is wrong and this hasn't been discussed. Discordance (talk) 21:21, 27 July 2014 (UTC)
- I don't really care deeply which side they're on, I just would prefer created pages to be more consistent (at least for the future). Explorifice had switched some but not all, and no one seemed to care much, so I just switched the remainder. It is mainly an aesthetic thing though, isn't it? Why is on the left bad? --Fig bucket (talk) 21:30, 27 July 2014 (UTC)
- He's been pushing for the left by himself. Cool has reverted his edits before. Left it bad because the field isn't properly terminated, new line and other characters can end up in the field. Discordance (talk) 21:34, 27 July 2014 (UTC)
- Can you show a test case for this? I thought whitespace on either side was ignored. Also, if you want to move the pipes back, don't just revert my changes---there were other fixes to those templates, so look at what you're doing first. --Fig bucket (talk) 21:35, 27 July 2014 (UTC)
- Sorry about that I shouldn't have done it. Discordance (talk) 21:39, 27 July 2014 (UTC)
- Normal whitespace is trimmed I doubt this includes special whitespace characters, I guess you could say we don't need to consider those which is fair enough I suppose, i'm going to have to dig around the wiki markup docs to make sure. it was a long time ago I learnt to put them on the right. they may simply have fixed the parser since then to deal with it better. If thats the case then its purely preference, while consistency is more important than preference theres still a lot of pages using right pipes. It should definitely be discussed and then probably wiki-botted. Discordance (talk) 21:57, 27 July 2014 (UTC)

Template:Card
I'm liking it already :) I'm guessing you're still working on it? -- JaAchan (talk) 15:52, 4 July 2015 (UTC)
- Glad you like it! It's not done in the sense that the numbered cards will likely need some special treatment, but I didn't get any today to use as examples, so if you (or anyone else) wants to work on it go ahead, otherwise I'll finish it tomorrow hopefully.. --Fig bucket (talk) 16:12, 4 July 2015 (UTC)
- Numbered cards as in X of Salads? Not sure what you need as an example I think [1] is pretty accurate as layout idea (though on the seven for example the odd one has a whole line to itself, and I think 10 is just two rows of 5). Or maybe you mean the goblin sapper that has 3 numbers in the edges? -- JaAchan (talk) 16:18, 4 July 2015 (UTC)
- Yes, well, both actually, and more---I want to see the raw html for several examples of the different styles so I can try and replicate the same structure and formatting. --Fig bucket (talk) 16:28, 4 July 2015 (UTC)
- Eight of Hearts | Six of Papayas -- JaAchan (talk) 10:12, 5 July 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks, that's exactly what I needed. It should now work for 6 and 8 of things. The template should be easy to adjust for the placement of other numbers---it doesn't seem to follow the standard layout you linked above, so that needs to be verified. The sapper still remains to be done too.. --Fig bucket (talk) 14:36, 5 July 2015 (UTC)
- Two of Coins Seven of Spades. Though I'm not sure we should show all variants, maybe randomize it? Assuming all cards can have all numbers. -- JaAchan (talk) 19:31, 6 July 2015 (UTC)

Effect changes gone a bit wrong for some effects
Something went a bit wrong for some effects after moving "effect=" to metadata. See my note here: Discussion#Potions_now_have_bluetext. --Darkcodelagsniper (talk) 13:04, 9 October 2015 (UTC)
- Ok, will fix, thanks for pointing it out... --Fig bucket (talk) 13:59, 9 October 2015 (UTC)
Admin help
Hi Fig,
Can you delete 8-Bit Realm so I can move The Inexplicable Door there. 8-Bit Realm is the in-game name for the zone. Could you look at a few of the things in discussion too? Darkcodelagsniper idea for purge links is a good one. I used it on the die2nite wiki a few years ago, Had a small link hiding on the infobox. Discordance (talk) 14:07, 9 October 2015 (UTC)
- Ok, deleted. I'll look at the discussion things... --Fig bucket (talk) 14:18, 9 October 2015 (UTC)
Gettin a Noob up to speed: Thanks for cleaning up my incomplete first wiki contribs
Just bought the robortender and in one day found a few recipes. Thought I'd use one that just had place holders as my trial first add. I had the code opened up for one of the completed ones for reference.
That turned out to be pretty damn useful. But still missed the "see also" category on the effect.
Didn't realize how many links and metadata files end up being needed to get a single item sorted out.
Note to self: allow plenty of time to add an entry.
--Dirk Dinkler (talk) 01:05, 6 March 2017 (UTC)
- NP, starting an entry at least gets it started! Hope you continue editing. --Fig bucket (talk) 12:43, 6 March 2017 (UTC)
Inquiry
Asking for help with a certain "issue" I noticed regarding templates used on boss pages; more specifically, dread bosses. If you go to Great Wolf of the Air or Mayor Ghost (Hard Mode) (just examples, I think all dread bosses have that problem) , you can see that the ----after combat----- line is placed at the very bottom of the section, even after the stat gains.
On pages like Oscus, however, everything is fine...
Only difference I can see is that dread bosses only have Template:AcquireClan; absolutely zero appearance of Template:Acquire (nvm, just tried adding a random {aquire|item} and it changed nothing...)
SOOoooo... I'm not an expert in HTML, but would need your help to correctly set where this ---after combat--- line is being placed on these pages. --Fredg1 (talk) 00:27, 3 October 2019 (UTC)
- The {{AcquireClan}} template (and it doesn't matter if it was {{Acquire}} either) was included inside the {{battle}} template for the dread bosses. Not entirely sure if there was a motivation for that, but moving them outside the template fixes things. --Fig bucket (talk) 17:11, 3 October 2019 (UTC)
Hey! Is Jinya still active? I contacted her (email) about a wiki issue, but I have no idea which admin is still actually active (besides you), so will it reach, or should I talk with you/someone else about it? --Fredg1 (talk) 01:46, 6 April 2020 (UTC)
- I think so, but I'm not in particularly regular contact with the coldfront admins. Mag is around, as of a few months ago at least. --Fig bucket (talk) 02:40, 6 April 2020 (UTC)
Signature Button
Hello! Sorry if this is the wrong person to bother or anything. I am still very new to the wiki. In the editing interface, the header includes a tip about the signature/timestamp button, but it includes what appears to be a broken image. I uploaded a new one and changed this on the Help:Contents page, but I wasn't sure what to do about the editing interface header. --MoonshoesMcBango (talk) 02:16, 26 January 2021 (UTC)
- Greetings. Thanks; I modified the editing message. --Fig bucket (talk) 13:14, 26 January 2021 (UTC)
Is Mr Klaw Spading Over?
Hello again! It seems from the most recent addition to/bottom of the talk page that spading drops for the non-deluxe Mr Klaw Machine has long since concluded. In that case, can we remove the link in the Editors: box of the main Page? Or if spading is still going on, though with far fewer qualified players, we could just change it to "Help figure out the chances of the Deluxe Mr. Klaw drops" or something? --MoonshoesMcBango (talk) 01:08, 27 January 2021 (UTC)
- The Deluxe version is also linked (it's not so obvious, but there are 2 links). The stats are probably fairly stable at this point, but leaving it there seems benign---more info doesn't hurt (it might even change one day), and it's an easy intro to spading and wiki-editing. --Fig bucket (talk) 22:16, 27 January 2021 (UTC)
Really sorry to keep bothering you. The icon in the footer (right before "© 2005 - 2015 Coldfront L.L.C.") is broken also, and should probably be the favicon, which I cannot figure out how to insert. --MoonshoesMcBango 02:07, 27 January 2021 (UTC)
- No problem. I'm not sure what image coldfront intended if any, the src is just "". That code, however, is part of the skin, not the wiki content, so it would need a coldfront admin to change it anyway. --Fig bucket (talk) 22:16, 27 January 2021 (UTC)
Well Tempered Update
Hello! With the fresh death of Adobe Flash, there is a new link for KoL marketplace and we should probably replace it in the sidebar and Well Tempered page. https://g1wjmf0i0h.execute-api.us-east-2.amazonaws.com/default/itemindex --MoonshoesMcBango 02:39, 17 February 2021 (UTC)
Hello
Hi! I was just curious as to whether there was some group of people who still work on the wiki, maybe a discord server, clan, or some other form of groupchat? I figured if there was one, you might know. --AppleSaws (talk) 06:05, 25 June 2021 (UTC)
- Greetings. Not really; wiki content discussion tends to occur on the Discussion page or in various talk pages. For technical issues with the mediawiki installation there's an admin/coldfront mailing list, but it's used even less. --Fig bucket (talk) 11:24, 25 June 2021 (UTC)
Deletion request
Hi! Happy New Year! Sorry to bother you here, but could you maybe delete this old file version of File:Crimbo21tree.png? It has swastika vandalism in it and I don't think we need to keep that here. Sorry if this is not the right place. --Extremelywikidude (talk) 04:29, 1 January 2022 (UTC)
- Done, and HNY! --Fig bucket (talk) 14:25, 1 January 2022 (UTC)
