Search it

You told CluckyB asking him about the semi-rare adventures. look at fortune cookie for details. If you searched it, you would've come across it because it comes up as the third thing the kolwiki search found. --CG1:t,c,e 07:35, 16 July 2007 (CDT)

Vampire Heart

It's going to be useless for Softcore anyways cause it's a quest item...--Thou shalt perish 10:15, 11 April 2006 (CDT)

tofat wing chow mein

"It still exists. I can point you to one."

  • OK, go ahead. --Jonrock 19:24, 16 October 2006 (CDT)
    • Player named fliptopsean: number 883383. One is in his display case, and one is (probably) in his store for 20mil meat. Supposedly, there are two to three others, but these are the ones I know of. --Unnatural20 23:07, 16 October 2006 (CDT)
      • Neat! I wonder why the one in the store doesn't show up when you search for "tofat". --Jonrock 23:13, 16 October 2006 (CDT)

The new Imp

The puzzle tells you not to spoil because it makes it not work as wel the more people know. Please have some respect for the game.--Darkness 03:36, 12 July 2007 (CDT)

The wiki has all sorts of information on it. In fact, there are only four words you can't find on here. Until a ban is put on this officially... it's staying. Other people want to know, see. --Unnatural20 03:37, 12 July 2007 (CDT)

Checkout the Talk:Your father's MacGuffin diary page. Semi spoilers were removed from there by Quietust--Darkness 03:39, 12 July 2007 (CDT)

I see that he did, but I don't know that the dev team asked it not be spoiled. If you can provide a source? --Unnatural20 03:41, 12 July 2007 (CDT)

Try asking whoever spoiled it to you. --Jonbly 03:59, 12 July 2007 (CDT)

"...I try not to be a jerk, but if I am, call me on it." <- I'll call on this. If you had solved the puzzle, you'd not be asking the questions your asking about the dev team not asking it to be spoiled. --Aprocalypse 06:43, 12 July 2007 (CDT)

Here, too, for posterity: It only took a minute for me to have a source, and at that point I added a 'Do Not Spoil' tag to the page itself, and contacted /two/ admins to have the page history edited to remove any mention of the spoiler itself. --Unnatural20 13:33, 12 July 2007 (CDT)

The Rye

  • sorry if the revert seemed rude.
  • clan pages in the main space are vanity pages for old players. back in the days when the community was small enough that you could feel that if you made a joke in chat pretty nearly everyone playing the game would laugh. wasn't true, of course. what was true was there was only one chat. no hanging out in /clan, /villa, or /lounge feeling smug. if you made a joke in chat anyone who could laugh had the choice of whether to or not.
  • i've never liked these pages, and wish they'd go away. the last time this was discussed there was a consensus that they were a history of the game, if a very narrow and inward looking one, and that they should be tolerated beacuse of that.
  • if you feel that any player-created content (THE FUTURE) that's in the main space is anything from poorly written to offensive nonsense contact the player-creator in the first instance. it's their page after all. your idea of putting a request for rewrite on the page was a reasonable one, but i feel that it would be better in the first instance to contact megrimlock or chubbles directly. good luck with that. --Evilkolbot 11:49, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
    • No problem. I wish we at least had a disclaimer template; "This is KoL history and may have a non-neutral POV. Reader beware." Thoughts? --Unnatural20 06:39, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
