antique packet of ketchup
This is a small, dusty foil packet of ketchup. It's so old, though, that it predates the use of the word "ketchup" to mean "a condiment made of tomatoes," and is in fact a condiment made of mashed up pickled fish.

References
- The Romans used a paste made of pickled fish entrails, called garum.
- The description makes a reference to one speculation on where the word "ketchup" originates: that the word is a derivative of a Chinese word that basically translates to "fish sauce" and which is used to refer to a brine of pickled fish or shellfish.
