In fact, it's a book that's been possessed by some sort of restless spirit and is now flying around the library attacking anybody who happens by.

History
- The chance for a tattered scrap of paper to drop was originally 30%. It was lowered to 25% sometime around January 2, 2014. Sometime around February 11, 2017, it was lowered yet again to 20%. It was further lowered to 15% on November 8, 2017. As of August 1, 2019, the drop rate seems to have lowered again, as +631% item drop was unable to guarantee a drop.
