Why would someone want to always fumble? This effect seems useless. --Lemon-claw 01:11, 23 February 2009 (UTC)

  • The Clockwork Apparatus, I would guess. --TechSmurf 02:18, 23 February 2009 (UTC)
  • The question you should be asking yourself is "Why would Dr. Awkward not want to have something that would always make one fumble?" The answer is "he wouldn't". --Flargen 02:29, 23 February 2009 (UTC)

I meant to say if I were to use the potion it would make me clumsy. Shouldn't it make my enemies who attack me clumsy? Like Hodgman? --Lemon-claw 03:16, 23 February 2009 (UTC)

Oh wow, that is pretty useful when combined with the clockwork apparatus. Don't know if the feature that stops your opponent from attacking would actually work against hodgman since items/effects that stop bosses from hitting you don't work. --Lemon-claw 03:27, 23 February 2009 (UTC)

  • I think you may want to recheck the Hobopolis pages. Multi-round stunners (like sausage bombs) do not work. Single round stunners, like the gob of wet hair work just fine. (Edit: I just glimpsed through very briefly, and only saw a mention on Ol' Scratch on the Advanced Mechanics page about the stunning... but I'm sure it's out there somewhere. :D ) --Terion 01:30, 28 February 2009 (UTC)

Okay, here's an interesting question: What would happen if you had this effect at the same time as you have a porquoise eyebrow ring (never fumble) equipped? Would you still fumble or not? Or would they just cancel each other out, and you'd fumble the normal chance? Like running a humidifier and a dehumidifier in the same room... --Jimfromtx 10:24, 7 March 2009 (UTC)

I went and tried Clumsy with Chalky Hand and the balloon sword and I fumbled every time. --Therealtahu 01:36, 25 April 2009 (UTC)

Im willing to bet that this does something really kick ass in a certain situation or something.--Coolness 18:37, 8 March 2009 (UTC)

I'm not sure if we knew this already, but I've been testing autohit attacks (Sheidbutt, and LTS as a Clubber with a 2-handed club), and while it hasn't fumbled, it hasn't hit either. To provide some relevant combat text:

"Shield in hand (er, well, offhand), you bull rush your opponent like Moses, overwhelming her defense. You failed to hit the monster."

Did we know this? Does it need to be added? --Chyld 09:59, 18 April 2010 (UTC)
