Do the Jackets drop if you don't have torso awaregness? If not, then someone should note that.

Elemental weaknesses

I see someone said it's weak to Sleaze but my Hot spell just did double damage. So it's not a 'known' element, or it's just weak to all elements. Anyone willing to smack it with an Obsidian to see which elements it reacts to?

Nope, I just Obsidian'd it, and it did normal damage for everything else (No resistance) and double hot and sleaze. Odd.

Today, my spooky gravy fairy only did 1 damage to it, so for today, at least, it resists spooky. --Drab Emordnilap 19:53, 9 August 2007 (CDT)

Ascension-specific jacket drop?

Has anyone gotten more than one type of jacket to drop in the same ascension? I have three of the same one and no others right now, but this could just be coincidental. --Dayv 15:07, 16 July 2007 (CDT)

Theory: Multiple Monsters

I'm starting to think that there is more than one monster with the same name and image here. This would explain why nobody has reported getting more than one jacket at a time, and it would also explain the unpredictable elemental resistances/weaknesses this encounter has displayed. --Dayv 13:00, 18 November 2007 (CST)

You can still get one of the jackets when a yellow ray is used, the regular drop mechanic still applies to the conditional drops. I have a screen cap proving that. --Muhandes 13:10, 7 October 2009 (UTC)

Breaking news gentlemen. I just yellowrayed a beatles and got a hearts club jacket, which by normal circumstances, should not drop because it's a conditional. what? Ask for screenshot Argus 10:09, 3 July 2011 (CEST)

Special jacket condition?

It may just be an absurdly large amount of luck, but I fought 3 beatles in a row and received hearts, diamonds, and clubs jackets in that order this run. 2 more beatles directly after but they didn't drop the spades jacket. Was wearing the DB legendary outfit and an astral shirt, fledges, and baron's monocle. 21 lb fairy, no effects besides ultrahydrated. --Tellahff2 21:40, 20 June 2011 (UTC)

Palm frond conditional?

A clanmate of mine: "YR'd scarab beetles. I got diamond jacket, mojo filter, savoy truffle, rocky raccoon, hot date, water lilly, silver hammer, happiness....and no palm frond" --Greycat 16:30, 27 July 2012 (CEST)
