Template talk:NeedsSpading
From TheKolWiki
I propose that this template, and those like it, use <b> tags instead of wiki syntax -- this is so multiline comments will be in bold.
This seems like a pretty trivial change, just thought I should give folk a chance to comment in case it'll break something I haven't thought of. --Starwed 20:32, 18 January 2011 (UTC)
- Shouldn't be a problem. Usually, it's wiki syntax that breaks things. Like multi-line comments breaking wiki-bolding. HTML syntax is what we use when wiki syntax is too broken or too inadequate. So using html bold takes, or a div with the "font-weight: bold" style set should do just fine. --Flargen 00:46, 19 January 2011 (UTC)
- Ok, did the change on all such templates. Didn't seem to break anything in normal cases, though a place which already used elements broke for some reason. --Starwed 21:49, 20 January 2011 (UTC)
